Queenstown Helicopter Weddings at Earnslaw Burn
Earnslaw Burn is the valley beneath Mt Earnslaw’s impressive hanging glacier and countless cascading waterfalls. Located near Glenorchy you’ll have a good 30 minute flight time between Queenstown and Earnslaw Burn to take in uninterrupted views across Lake Whakatipu, Glenorchy, the Dart River and the Rees Valley.
From June till August there is little natural light in the Earnslaw Burn valley and the waterfalls are not as numerous. During this time we recommend opting to land on the Earnslaw Ridgeline for a snowy but sunny outlook. Our favourite time of year for your Earnslaw Burn wedding is September till December, particularly after some good rainfall when the waterfalls are abundant.
