What’s your Covid policy?

If your wedding is unable to go ahead due to government imposed restrictions relating to self-isolation, travel or gatherings then we offer postponement planning free of charge.

This means that we can postpone your wedding date with no extra fees from us as your wedding planners. Additional charges may apply or deposits may be lost from other suppliers involved in your wedding day. However, we aim to minimise the financial impact of any postponement as much as possible.

We have found that honest and kind communication is key to ensuring a smooth and stress free transition to a new wedding date if needed.

Can I choose the suppliers for my wedding package?

All Shaken & Stirred weddings include a registered marriage celebrant from the Your Big Day team and professional photography from Kellie Francis Photography.

The other suppliers involved in your wedding are the very best in the business. We select the right matches for you based on your requirements and budget.

Depending on availability there may be an opportunity for you to choose some suppliers for your wedding day. If you have any specific requests for vendors please let us know in your initial enquiry.

Where can the helicopter land for a heli-wedding?

There are heaps of different landing options for your Queenstown or Wanaka heli-wedding. Each location has a unique and beautiful view for your wedding ceremony and wedding photos.

The location you choose will likely depend on the season you’re getting married, the timing of your ceremony, the view you want for the background and your wedding budget.

We’ve compiled all the info you need to choose your heli-wedding location here.

Can we get an breakdown of costs for our package quote?

We do not provide an itemised breakdown of costs for two key reasons:

– We are not at liberty to disclose the pricing of the other wedding suppliers that we work with, many of which offer us generous discounts that we can pass onto you as part of your package

– the cost for each individual item can depend on the package as a whole and what mix of elements are included

We can work with you on tweaking and changing your package quote until it’s the perfect mix for you.
