Rosemary Blush Vodka Cocktail

An easy way to make everyone blush.

At Shaken & Stirred Weddings we’re not interested in a post-Christmas and New Years detox. Instead, we take any opportunity to fill our cups and cheers to every win however big or small. So, it’s time to celebrate surviving the past year and the start of a new year with a new cocktail… we hope you’ll join us!

But last 12 months wasn’t all bad. It was the uncertainty of wedding planning during a pandemic and associated stress for couples that inspired us to help you with your Queenstown wedding day. As a celebrant and photographer team we had already worked together on many weddings with hundreds of happy couples in our wake. And so together we have all the experience, energy and attention to detail needed to plan your big day even when it feels like the world is falling apart.

Anyway, let’s get back to the point of this blog post… I hope you’re thirsty!

1. Get started with the good stuff…

Add ice to glasses (about half full) and add vanilla vodka. We used Stolen vanilla vodka and let’s make it two shots per glass… it’s a cocktail after all!

2. Add the simple syrup

We made ours rosemary infused by cooking 1 part water and 1 part sugar with a generous bunch of rosemary on the stove till it forms a syrup texture. Add about a tablespoon of simple syrup to each glass.
